Universal Amulets

Horin-ji (Horin Temple)

These are Hoju (lit. precious orb) crystal amulets that offer help with a wide‐range of wishes. Write your wish down on the paper provided, and place it inside of the amulet. You must occasionally take the crystal out to renew your wish. It is most effective if you are very specific about your wish. ¥1800

Gou-jinja (Gou Shrine)

These amulets are the perfect size to fit into a business card case or an ID case that you may use at work.

During what is now called the "Dokyo Incident", Wake no Kiyomaru stopped Dokyo from forcefully taking over the Imperial throne, and it is said that boars protected him on his journies - hence the use of boars on the amulets.

Love Letters

Suga-jinja (Suga Shrine)

Shaped like a love-letter.
These are awarded only once a year, during the 'Setsubun' Festival in February. It is said that if you place the amulet in your dresser or wardrobe you will be blessed with a good match.
Suga Shrine is located near Kinrin Elementary School.

Imamiya-jinja (Imamiya Shrine)

Imamiya Shrine was largely supported long ago by Keishoin, who was the mother of Tsunayoshi, who later became Shogun. She was the daughter of a lowly greengrocer and married into the Shogunate family, hence the prayers given here for marrying into wealth! ¥800

This is a cute plush Jizo who is the guardian deity of children. This is supposed protect the child by taking the place of them in situations. All hand made with the face written in.

This is home to the "Nail Pulling Jizo" which is meant in the context of "pulling out" pain and suffering.

The walls of the temple are full of holes from nails being pulled out!

Denden-gu (Denden Shrine)・Horin-ji (Horin Temple)

The god enshrined at Denden-gu (Denden Shrine) is the god of radio waves and electricity, Myojin. There are stickers and such that are meant to protect your devices from information loss and such.
These amulets are used often by people in the I.T. business. Stickers come in packs of 6 so you can stick them on multiple devices. ¥400.

This has been blessed using the ritual praying of Kokuzo Gumonji-ho (which is a prayer for increasing memory). Can of course be used as a regular memory card - can be fit into many digital cameras. ¥1200.
